The number of “sheep” in the Farm of our Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has approached 750. With the protocol signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Rectorate of our University, in addition to the 320 sheep we already have; 426 more sheep, consisting of Dağlıç, Pırlak, Ramlıç and Texel breeds, were brought to our farm. Our Rector, Mr. prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakaş, as well as our city’s deputy, Mr. Hunting. On behalf of our Faculty, we would like to thank Mr. Ali Özkaya, all our relevant politicians, our Farm management and all our teachers who contributed.
