Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Afyon Kocatepe University was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers on July 4, 1995, within the framework of the Additional Article 30 of the Law No. 2809, upon the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 28 June 1995 and numbered 16923. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine admitted its first students in 1997.
