The Vice Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Serdar Koçak, accompanied by students from the VETAKÜ Club, visited Karşıyaka Primary School to meet with the students. As part of the event organized for the 12 March Adoption of the National Anthem and Commemoration of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, VETAKÜ Club students delivered a presentation detailing the life of Veterinarian Mehmet Akif Ersoy. Additionally, poems by Mehmet Akif Ersoy were recited by our faculty students during the program.
“The aim was to strengthen national awareness”
Commenting on the program, our Faculty’s Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Serdar Koçak, stated that meeting with primary school students contributes to awareness-raising efforts aimed at strengthening national consciousness.
