About the project
The project titled “Anthelmogram: A Next Generation Decision Making Tool for Anthelmentic Resistance Management in Europe”, which is planned to be completed in 3 years and has a total budget of 1 million 6 hundred thousand Euros, aims to develop an anthelmogram diagnostic tool that works on a similar principle to the “antibiogram” test by allowing the determination of drug susceptibility or resistance to 10 different anthelmentic active substances (including macrocyclic lactones). In addition, the project will also investigate the genetic mechanism of anthelmentic resistance to different drug groups in cattle, sheep and goats in participating countries.
We congratulate our faculty members involved in the project.
